Akeme Hub

Last updated July 13, 2026

Akeme Hub (“the App”) is an internal content-operations tool operated by Akeme Visuals LLC for managing our own YouTube channels and team workflow. The App uses YouTube API Services. This policy explains how the App handles data accessed through Google APIs, including YouTube API Services.

Google account data we access

When a channel owner connects a YouTube channel, the App requests access to:

How we use this data

Data accessed via the YouTube API is used only to provide the App’s user-facing features: displaying channel/video status and analytics to the account owner, and publishing videos (changing privacy status) at the owner’s scheduled time. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we store and protect it

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager. Channel and video data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore) and is accessible only to authorized members of our team. We do not share this data with third parties except as required to operate the App on Google Cloud infrastructure.

Data retention and revocation

A channel owner can disconnect a channel at any time within the App, which revokes the App’s access. You can also revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On revocation, we stop accessing the channel’s data and delete stored tokens for that channel.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Akeme Hub’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google and YouTube policies

Because the App uses YouTube API Services, Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.
